Earth day is celebrated on April 22nd each year. Earth day is a day in which many celebrate to increase awareness and appreciation of Earth's natural environment. If you happen to be in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, you're sure to find a variety of Earth Day activities fun for all ages. I'm sure you can also find many activities in and around your own town. Make it a family fun day by pitching in and cleaning up any of your area's local parks. There are many ways to show you do care about our environment and the earth we live on.
